![]() ![]() For instance, it reverted the title back to "title" when days ago she had actually written in a title, so it didn't just delete data, it's like it jumped back 3 days in time. ![]() She had been saving frequently and it's as if the restart reverted her document back to a previous state from days ago. She just lost multiple days worth of work on a word document after her macbook air (Big Sur 11.3.1) suddenly force restarted. I'm not familiar with MacOS and my gf is even less tech-savvy than me, so we could really use some help. Use Time Machine for extra protection and close the word document when not in use. ![]() If you can't find the autorecovery files using the file paths listed in this link ( ), then go to Word preferences and make sure you check the correct location for autorecovery files. Edit for resolution: The file path for Word autorecovery files was different than indicated by help sites online for whatever reason. ![]()
